What you’ll do:

Our Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing direct sales of Equifax’s Workforce Solutions services into businesses across Australia. You will establish relationships and sell our newly setup Verification Exchange capability to employers and indirect partners, and drive data acquisition for verification services.

Your key responsibilities will be identifying and developing new business opportunities, developing sales strategies, researching and qualifying sales leads, and building and maintaining prospective customer & partner relationships. Working closely with the broader Australian sales and global Account teams at Equifax you will also uncover opportunities with existing customers and identify Australian prospects.

What are we looking for?

  • 2-5 years Business to Business (B2B) or solution selling experience
  • Experience dealing with leadership and senior management
  • A ‘hunter’ mentality, with a proven track record developing new pipeline, cultivating prospects, and exceeding assigned quotas
  • Ideally you will have experience selling accounting/payroll software, Payroll/HR systems, or other technology-based products

Extra points for any of the following:

  • You will be a self-starter, resilient, collaborative and adaptable
  • Previous experience in a start-up environment would be advantageous
