What you’ll do:
The Head of Enterprise Risk Management will lead the ERM team to develop and expand the organisation’s ability to manage risk within a fast-changing environment.
The role will ensure risk management and controls are embedded within the functions across the ANZ business. This should include managing risk within all relevant guidelines and regulations as defined by our Global and local risk appetite, plus consideration to licensing obligations across our licensed entities.
The Head of Enterprise Risk Management will be a consummate influencer and an experienced leader, capable of driving a true Risk culture and ownership of Risk within each business unit. We are looking for someone who can pragmatically identify and mitigate risks, as well as someone who can oversee the governance aspects of this role.
This role will also provide leadership & global input to the assessment, design, development, delivery and monitoring of risks and controls related to the company´s core business processes and assets. Executing global strategy surrounding risk architecture, policies, standards, guidelines, awareness and procedures to ensure the protection and risk management of information processed, stored and transmitted. Ensuring a risk based and balanced approach to ownership for the implementation of risk management best practices across the enterprise.
What are we looking for?
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a Risk role
- Risk qualifications / equivalent or studying towards
- Regulatory Knowledge relevant for the enterprise and customer groups
- Demonstrated ability in interpreting internal and external challenges and recommending best practices
- Proven ability to leverage insights and risk benchmark practices to develop a holistic view and anticipate customer needs and key business challenges
- Confident in interacting with key decision-makers across different functions
- Strong critical thinking, problem solving and influencing skills
