What you’ll do:
The Senior Finance Planning Analyst plays a key role in supporting planning for revenue and operating costs for the Product and Marketing COE, analyse trends, identify drivers & opportunities to optimise revenue & costs.
You will be required to produce accurate monthly forecast and up to date monthly reporting & analysis of the Product and Marketing COE. You are responsible for variance analysis against budgets & rolling forecasts, identification of emerging risks &/or opportunities within the P&L. You will also assist in supporting segment analysis and planning.
You will perform critical analysis of financial results and key drivers affecting the business to provide meaningful insight and recommendations for senior leaders. You will coordinate monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-term strategic planning for Revenue generating COEs P&L. You will be involved in internal financial reporting : Dashboards, product reports, president letter, monthly business review, P&L Reporting. You will be responsible for continuous improvement of planning infrastructure – systems, inputs, outputs. You will also be involved in performing other duties and ad-hoc financial analysis as required.
What are we looking for?
- Accounting or post graduate degree (CFA/CA)
- 3-5 years’ experience within a M&A/FP&A team or Big 4s (Audit)
- Strong working knowledge in Tableau
- Exposure to Oracle/Essbase/Tm1
- Experience in financial modelling skills
- Comprehension of the role of business drivers and ability to reflect drivers in analysis and forecasting models
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to deliver high level of customer support
