What you’ll do:

The Change & Release Coordinator assists with the daily organisation of all phases and activities involved in the release of new systems, system enhancements, security improvements and system updates into the production environment. The key responsibilities of this role include planning, automating, and monitoring the progress of releases by facilitating meetings, clearly identifying risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies to impacted products and systems.

Working within an agile environment, the Change & Release Coordinator will collaborate with a variety of stakeholders. This role will assist various disparate teams by ensuring milestones are achieved against the committed scope, schedule, and deliverables within each quarter. The Change & Release Coordinator will effectively manage communications of a committed release and drive IT and business readiness, ensuring exit criteria from test through to production is met. In addition to, create, maintain, and support artefacts for each release, namely run sheets, builds, automation tests, roll back plans and DR plans.

The Change and Release Coordinator will manage these meetings as well as represent change requests within CAB meetings. Reporting into the IT Change Manager, The Change & Release Coordinator will also assist with the daily management of IT Changes, ensuring the changes are properly constructed and assessed, and follow the formal IT Change Management process under the guidance of the IT Change Manager.

Please note: This role is an 18-month fixed term contract.

What are we looking for?

  • 3 years’ experience in Release and/or an IT delivery role or project coordination
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or technology
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking capability
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills and an ability to build effective relationships
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a variety of competing tasks

Extra points for any of the following:

  • ITIL release management experience preferred
  • ITIL foundation certification preferred

This role requires release support for every 6 weeks!
