What you’ll do:
As a Credit Ratings Analyst, you will be required to research, perform credit risk analysis, provide detailed commentary, share insights and draw conclusions in the form of a detailed credit report. This will include financial statement/economic/industry analysis, benchmarking and modelling.
The Credit Rating Analyst is also responsible for complying with Divisional policies and procedures and presenting a professional image to clients and the broader business market.
This role is either Sydney or Brisbane based.
What are we looking for?
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Commerce
- Qualification in CA/CPA/CFA highly regarded
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting/finance (with a min 1-year local experience)
- Experienced in communicating with clients directly
- Ability to interpret financial statements and identify key risks/drivers of companies & industries
- Ability to think beyond the ratios and apply knowledge in a holistic way
- Must comply with all applicable policies, principals and organisational requirements
Extra points for any of the following:
- Previous experience in accounting firms/global background agencies/Big 4s (Audit)
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and the ability to be comfortable with change
- Strong communication skills with good inter-personal relationship management skills
