What you’ll do:
The Data Engineer is responsible for the loading, updating, monitoring and management of all Equifax data assets (credit bureau and non-credit bureau) across both Australia and New Zealand.
The key responsibilities of this role include regular loading and managing of core datasets within SLA, monitoring the timeliness of data supply, responding to customer queries, investigating anomalies and support internal and external stakeholder questions, and maintaining a high standard of data security, integrity and quality.
You will be working directly with customers, data suppliers and internal teams to drive the implementation of new/existing ingestion processes for new/existing data sources. You will be given opportunity to identify process improvement solutions, transformation needs and lead the development of process improvement initiatives.
What are we looking for?
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in software development, database analysis/management
- Degree educated in Statistics, Information Technology, Computers, Mathematics, Engineering
- Proficient in SQL, Power Pivot, Advanced Excel and MS Applications
- Basic Programming skills, Python and other BI Tools
- High attention to detail and problem solving ability
- A willingness to learn new applications and systems
- Self-driven and enthusiastic in discovering new ideas, technology and personal development
