What you’ll do:

The role of Business Development Manager - Commercial will be focused on the achievement of revenue targets and the development of commercial risk solutions for the NZ market. The role is positioned in the wider Equifax product team and will work closely between the product and sales functions.

You will provide professional sales support to the Equifax sales team, increase Equifax’s footprint of commercial risk products in the NZ market and drive incremental revenue uplift. The solution set this role encompasses includes Equifax’s Commercial Risk Acquisition and Account Management Services as well as our Corporate Scorecard offering. 

Key aspects of the role include providing product expertise and support to the sales team to secure new revenue opportunities whilst attaining a sales budget, development, and execution of sales strategies, engaging with existing Equifax customers to extend their use of Equifax’s commercial solutions, engaging with new Equifax customers to drive adoption of Equifax’s commercial solutions and supporting the development of new and enhanced Equifax commercial solutions.

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a sales role
  • Successful track record / proven ability to develop new business
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to conduct presentations at forums as required
  • Ambitious, self-motivated, well organised and willing to learn

  • Tertiary degree
  • Knowledge of accounting / financial services
